P.R.I.M.E. Time Promoting Responsibility In a Mentoring Environment PRIME Time is a curricular program based on an advisor/ advisee format for all students 6-12. This year focuses on ITED preparation, community service, semester test preparation, and the 5 challenges presented in the Rachel’s Challenge Program. The 5 challenges are as follows: 1. to eliminate prejudice by looking for the best in others; 2. dare to dream, set goals, and keep a journal; 3. choose your influences because input determines output; 4. Kind words because small acts of kindness equate a huge impact; and 5. start a chain reaction with family and friends. Students
will be moving toward PLPs (Personalized Learning Plans) as well as working on
specific skills and information important to the success of each HCHS/HCMS
student. This year’s PRIME time
includes all students 9-12. There
are days when the activities are different for the grade levels to reflect the
needs of the students. We welcome
your input, comments, and discussion as joined together, we get the job done.
The web site for the dates of PRIME time, the activities, and the
introduction of PRIME time are now available on the web.
As the year progresses, more will be added.
